Professional sax and woodwind player for all occasions
John is a professional saxophonist and clarinettist with a wealth of experience in the music industry. He has played in Ireland's leading venues such as the National Concert Hall, Olympia and Gaiety Theatres. He has performing experience from orchestral to solo work and performs with some of Ireland's leading wedding and corporate bands. A versatile and exciting musician, John can play all styles of music suiting all occasions and musical tastes.
A graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, John has a masters degree in performance from Maynooth University.

I have worked with John many times over the years on various musical projects, and his understanding and musicianship is matched by the beautiful tone of his playing.

John played saxophone at our wedding. John was very easy to work with and was always available to answer any queries we had or needed any advice. He listened to what we wanted for our special day and helped us include the music we liked and was special to us. John is very approachable and personable. We had our “Annual Ladies Lunch†for our secondary school. At the entrance to the golf club we had the talented John Murphy coax our ladies into the lunch with his tailored tunes to suit our event! John then entertained our Ladies on the balcony and set the tone for the afternoon! Can’t thank you enough John for your engagement with our audience and for making our lunch so special! Already booked for next years lunch!
