I charge €80 / hr for live Caricatures.

2 hours minimum for venues in County Antrim (3 hours minimum outside Antrim or 2 hours at €100 per hour)
Up to a Maximum of 8 hours artwork (I can draw live during drinks reception, then from photos of guests during dinner & speeches, then back to live drawing afterwards).
Deposit is €80 Plus travel expenses.
I live in Lisburn Northern Ireland.
I can draw around 8-9 guests per hour.Â
I like to add in miniature bodies doing some action personal to their interests.
I can draw 1 to 6 people per page. Each person can take between 5 - 7 minutes.
I take photos of every drawing and the guest model with it which I then add to my Instagram and Facebook portfolios so you can look back over them all as a collection when I send you the link to do so.
The way I operate Live Caricatures is:
> I arrive 30 minutes early to find and set up a suitable, well lit location with a table and 3 chairs so that models can sit with their buddy to have a comfortable chat whilst I draw them slightly from a side angle. I start drawing whoever comes to me first, or you can suggest the people you want drawn in particular. Alternatively I can move around to sit with guests at their tables if that suits them better. Anyone interested can write their name down to be next on the list.Â
Drawings are in black & white on A4 paper, or A3 for large groups. I provide clear plastic covers for protection and display, as well as elastic bands for easy roll up and take away as memoirs by your guests.
I can bring extra drawing materials to keep kids occupied drawing alongside me if wanted.

It costs €250 approx for a pre-prepared, detailed, full-colour, digitally or traditionally painted couple caricature with pass time, props and background.

I am an Irish, visual artist specialising in LIVE CARICATURE as it is great craic, covering Antrim and surrounding counties as well as Dublin and surrounding counties. I enjoy drawing and chatting to your guests as much as they enjoy getting to pose as VIP models (even if it is only for 6 minutes approx) ;). No need to fret over perfect hair and make-up, as my virtual cosmetic and reconstructive surgical skills can transform you entirely! Benefits can include lengthier lashes, gigantic smiles, bug sized eyeballs, rippling male muscles and busting bosoms. All of this and more whilst accurately maintaining your underlying natural beauty of course. However a disproportionately large sized head compared to your body is a common adverse side effect (always important to read the small print).
Free virtual beers, cocktails or champagne with each drawing and the added benefit of zero calories! Any desired prop can be included in your caricature for that matter. Moon-sized diamond ring, pumpkin shaped carriage, or some action appropriate to your pastime, occupation or relationship (for dual pictures of couples or friends).
The humour in my caricature drawing is based more around the funny action / interaction of your miniaturised bodies rather than poking fun at your facial features. I am kind with my craft – You are all beautiful mutants ;)
I provide clear plastic covers to protect and display drawings on the night and for safe keeping as a take home gift.

My rate for Live Caricature Hire is
€80/hr, with a minimum of 2hrs up to maximum of 8hrs. Travel expenses may be incurred for venues outside of Antrim.
Another great gift to consider ordering is a
Pre-Prepared DETAILED CARICATURE from a PHOTOGRAPH of the romantic couple. This can be:
1) classically Framed behind glass,
2) centered and mounted to a large surrounding Signing Board for guests to write dedications upon, or
3) used as the image for Wedding Invites.
Detailed caricatures can contain a great deal of character, history, and humour. I work closely with clients to capture as much of the couple's personality as possible. Brainstorming on creative designs is part of the fun (or you can easily leave it all up to my experience) and rest assured that I will put my very best artistic sheen on top.

Andrew was the caricature artist at our wedding in Sept this year. It was a last minute decision for us, but are we glad we did it now!!! Highlight of the day for some of our guests and he even did one for us with our dogs in the background from a photo of them. Andrew was so accommodating and always responds in rapid time. I couldn't imagine not having or picture now, it's just fantastic and so close to the real thing as was everybody's. I couldn't recommend him enough. He interacted with all our guests and found out all he needed to know to make the best picture of them. Don't even think about it, just book him!
